The Nighthawks on HBO's The Wire - Between DVD "box set" sales, rentals and re-runs (it's now on BET and HBO), you can hear the band performing Pete's tune Blind Love in the final episode of Season One. Also, the first episode of Season Two features the Hawks performing "live" during a scene in a Baltimore long shoreman's bar. The band, seen setting up during the story, cuts loose with a version of Sixteen Tons (from Rock this House) - that really rocks the house.
